HOW IT WORKS
How does GreenApple Landscape Dumpsters turn dead tree limbs, withered shrubs, and dried grass patches into rich, organic compost, mulch, and topsoil?
It’s all in the screening process!
GreenApple Landscape Dumpsters hauls dumpsters of landscape waste to our recycling property to be sorted, recycled, and reused. Our goal is to keep as much plant matter out of the landfill as possible.
SORT
It’s not easy to sort every leaf and pebble that gets raked up and thrown into a large dumpster. The only way to create a clean compost or topsoil mix is to put in the time and effort to painstakingly sort the yard waste. To achieve speed and efficiency, we created a special screening system that helps us sort entire dumpsters with a mix of vegetative waste and rock debris. No one has a screening system like ours. We designed it, and had it built just for us.
RECYCLE
We sort the vegetative waste and rock debris into different recycling categories. If it can be broken down, it can be recycled, and we want to recycle EVERYTHING! We break down decomposing vegetative waste. We chip tree limbs and other wood growth. We grind tree trunks, stumps, and other extra large wood materials. We crush rock debris, including stones, concrete, pavers, bricks, and asphalt.
REUSE
Our goal is to reuse as much landscape waste as possible, and turn it into organic green gardening goods. Our team turns decomposing vegetative waste into a rich compost, perfect for vegetable gardens or landscape beds. Our chipped dried woods mix turns into a multi-purpose mulch, perfect for beds, walkways, and drainage. Our exclusive topsoil process turns an average pile of dirt into a nutrient-rich mound of earth that will nourish every living thing in your yard. And if you need a gravel base for edging, walkways and drainage, our crushed rock mix is exactly what you’re looking for.
