So what’s the difference between a dumpster and a GREEN DUMPSTER?
A dumpster is for large, bulky waste generated from industrial demolition, residential renovation, and appliance/junk removal. Anything and everything can be thrown in a regular dumpster, from paint cans to glass to metal to wood to drywall to petroleum to yard waste.
A GREEN DUMPSTER comes in one size only — 15 yards. It is for vegetative waste and stone ONLY. Vegetative waste means landscape waste — plants, trees, dead limbs, grass, leaves, dirt, vines, fruit, vegetables, seedpods, weeds, and anything else that is plant-based. Stone waste includes rocks, concrete, pavers, brick, and asphalt.
What you can't do
- You can’t put garbage in a GREEN DUMPSTER.
- You can’t put animal waste in a GREEN DUMPSTER.
- You can’t put plywood in a GREEN DUMPSTER.
- You can’t put newspaper in a GREEN DUMPSTER.
GREEN DUMPSTERS are so easy to use
When you call GreenApple Landscape Dumpsters, we drop a GREEN DUMPSTER at your curb, and we ask that you fill it with ONLY vegetative waste and stone. If you put anything else in a GREEN DUMPSTER, it contaminates the entire haul, and renders it impossible to be recycled.

Occasionally a customer will misunderstand what a GREEN DUMPSTER can hold, and they will fill it with non-vegetative waste. That makes our free dumpster offer null and voice, and penalties are levied.
For any customer that fills a GREEN DUMPSTER with non-vegetative waste:
- You will be charged for the dumpster.
- You will be charged for the debris haul.
- You will be charged a fee to dump it in a landfill.
- You will be charged a penalty for contaminating our recycling site.
